Effective September 9, 2026 LayoverLink collects the information needed to operate the app, including your email address, name, age, profile picture, where you are from, where you are going, and manually entered flight and layover details. We may also collect reports and support messages you submit. We use this information to create and secure accounts, display profiles to authenticated travelers with overlapping layovers, coordinate meetups, provide customer support, enforce safety rules, and maintain the service. LayoverLink uses Google Firebase for account authentication, database hosting, and profile-picture storage. Our website is hosted by Wix. These service providers process information on our behalf to operate the app and website. Your profile and relevant layover information may be visible to other authenticated LayoverLink users while you are checked in. We do not sell your personal information. Information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service. You can edit your profile or delete your account inside the app. You may also contact us to request deletion. LayoverLink is intended only for people age 18 or older.
